Victor M. "Vic" Mayweather of Rockford departed this earthly life March 28, 2025. He was born August 14, 1957 in St. Louis, MO the son of Alfonso and Mapleine Mayweather. Victor lived in Rockford most of his life coming from St. Louis as a small child. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Victor was a member of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church formerly serving as a van driver. He graduated from Auburn High School class of 1975.

Victor leaves to cherish many loving memories, his daughter, Rhonda Mayweather; two sons, Shavarra Mayweather and Stephon Profit;  18 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; mother, Mapleine Mayweather; sister, Tamara (Ricardo) Taylor; a host of nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father and brother, Marcus Mayweather.

Services will be held 12:00 noon Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
