Vincent Ross Waller, of Rockford departed this earthly life June 23, 2022. He was born November 27, 1952 in Detroit, MI the son of Isaiah and Mary Waller. Vincent lived in Rockford since 1981 coming from Detroit, MI. He married the former Frances Jones-Blalock, November 23, 2018 after being together since 1986. Vincent was employed as a assembler by Chrysler Corporation 30 years before retiring in 2006. He was baptized at a early age and joined New Mount Zion Baptist Church in Detroit. Vincent was a member of the UAW #1268. He attended schools in Detroit.
Vincent leaves to cherish many loving memories, his wife, Frances; daughter, Angel Tidwell; grand daughter Arial Reed; brother, Bennett, David and Henderson Waller; and sister, Regina Waller; sister Regina {Lonnie Reynolds} Waller a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, and brothers, Leslie and Harold Waller.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Pilgrim Baptist Church 1703 S, Central Ave. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
