Winona Helen Gordon, of Rockford departed this earthly life September 29, 2021. She was born October 10, 1975 in Rockford the daughter of Michael and Mary Gordon. Winona was employed by OSF St. Anthony Hospital 6 years and previously by KFC on East State St for 18 years. She was a member of Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church.  Winona graduated from Guilford High School class of 1994 and attended Rock Valley College.

Winona leave to cherish many loving memories, her mother, Mary Jo Gordon; sister, Regina Gordon; brother William (Tomyra) Gordon; four nieces; and one nephew; a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father Michael; and her grandparents.

Services will be held 12:00 noon Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Avenue. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
