Woodroe Felton

Woodroe “Woody” Felton, of Rockford departed this earthly life June 3, 2026. He was born May 30, 1938 in West, Mississippi the son of Druetta Mitchell and Freddie Felton. Woodroe lived in Rockford since 1962 coming from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He married Addie Felton November 28, 1985, she preceded him in death. Woodroe was employed as a assembler by Chrysler Corporation over 30 years before retiring. He attended schools in West, MS.

Woodroe leaves to cherish many loving memories, sons Fredrick ( Yolondra) Haney, Anthony Sims, Kelvin Felton and Leroy McFadden; daughter Kimberly (Michael ) Sims Morris; two bonus daughters, Tasha and Tonya Felton; ; step children, Vinessa Horton, Danny (Cindy) Woods, Carey (Penny) Woods, Etta Woods and Sidney Woods; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Etta Mae Ross and Annie C. ; and brother Jimmy Davis; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends including special niece Marvette Brooks. He was predeceased by his parents; son, Kendrick Felton; two brothers, Johnny and Mike Felton; two sisters, Inez Loury and Pearl Brown.

Service 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2026 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will held 8:00 a.m. until the time of service.
