Yolanda "Linda" Yance of Rockford departed this earthly life January 7, 2022. She was born December 26, 1965 in Chicago, IL the daughter Willie and Yvonne Yance.  Yolanda lived in Rockford since 1988 coming from Chicago. She was employed as a assembler by Dasco Toy Company a few years before becoming ill. Yolanda was a former member of Old Ship of Zion Church in Chicago.  She attended Marshall High School.

Yolanda leaves to cherish many loving memories, her companion of many years, Stanley Wallace; three sons, Jason Thrower, Alex Yance-Rule  and Errick Yance; twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four sisters, Geraldine Yance, Willie Mae Walker, Yvonne Yance, and Yvetta (Anthony) Jefferson; four brothers, Edward, Charles (Tamera), Joseph (Sharon) and James Yance; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, and brother, Jerry Yance.

Moving Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
