Zamarye Miquonn Charles, of Rockford departed this earthly life August 6, 2022. He was born September 13, 2001, the son of Zakie Flint and Mario Charles. Zamarye was last employed by Amazon. He attended St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, where he participated in the Boys Mentoring Program. Zamarye attended Auburn High School and Job Corp in Milwaukee.

Zamarye leaves to cherish many loving memories, his son, Zahmere Charles; mother Zakia Flint; two sisters, Adejah Charles and Zamijha Owens; maternal grandmother, Joyce Russell; paternal grandmother Lillie Charles and paternal grandfather, Michael Charles Sr.; maternal great grandmother Jessie Parham; aunts, Doreece (William) Edwards, Capresha (Eddie) Stevenson, Angelique (Troy) Malone, Vanquiell (Deandre) Hemby and Grace Nix; uncle, Michael Charles II. and a host of great aunts, uncles, cousin other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Mario Charles; and  maternal grandfather Daniel Nix;

Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2022, at St. Luke M.B. Church 2919 19th Street. No visitation will be held, doors will be open at 2:30p.m.  Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N Johnston Ave.
