Joshua D. Jamerson , of Rockford departed this earthly life January 1, 2017. He was born August 1, 1982 the son of Beverly Hildreth and Steven Jamerson. Joshua attended Pilgrim Baptist Church. He attended Auburn High School later to receive his G.E.D.
Joshua leaves to cherish many loving memories, two daughters, Kabrea and R'moni Jamerson; parents, Beverly (Ernest) Evans and Steven Jamerson; five sisters, Karrlishia (Quintin) Jordan, Sacha Evans, Sheree and Stephanie Simmons and Reka Harris; brother Victor Evans; maternal grandmother, Audrey Hildreth, paternal grandmothers, Maryneal Bonner and Agnes Gulley; a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held 11:00a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Pilgrim Baptist Church 1703 S. Central Avenue. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 9:00a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home 2429 W. State Street.
