Cheri Lynn Jackson, of Rockford departed this earthly life February 6, 2017 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. She was born June 22, 1962 in Beloit, WI; the daughter of Eva Jackson and Willie Martin. Cheri was a former member of Ebenezer Baptist Church serving as a usher. She graduated from Guilford High School.
Cheri leaves to cherish many memories, three daughters, Chimel Jackson, Tarara (Lexis) Greer and Octavia (Ollie) Washington; son, Michael Jackson; 7 grandchildren; parents, Eva Jones and Willie Martin; sisters, Gwen, Lucille, Djuana, Michelle and Stephanie ; brother L.V., James Leonard, Walter Lee, Michael, D'Otis, Ronald, Danny, Ricky Brian, Bruce and Brad; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church 301 Klines Avenue. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home 2429 W. State Street
