Jerome  Woodfork of Rockford departed this earthly life December 26, 2020. He was born July 12, 1951 in Memphis, TN the son of Tony and Mattie Woodfork. Jerome lived in Rockford most of his life coming from Memphis. He was employed as a data processor by the Rockford Police Department over 20 years before retiring.  Jerome graduated from West High School. He was know for his love for bowling, in which he bowled all over the country.

Jerome leaves to cherish many loving memories, his son, Jerron Woodfork; three grandchildren; sister, Irene Woodfork; three brothers, Clifford (Ethel) Woodfork, Melvin Woodfork and Roosevelt (Barbara) Ingram; special friends Tasha Flowers; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, and two brothers, Thomas and Jessie Cross.

Moving visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 11, 2021 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 n. Johnston Ave. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
